Today, as usual, I have a million things that I have to do, need to do, and should do. Here's a quick glimpse of the things at the top of my list:
The past two weeks of my school life have been consumed with finishing the yearbook; therefore, my students have been taught, but not in my normal, small group lovin' way. They've begged for groups, and honestly, I've missed groups! I am by no means a whole group teacher! Sadly, desperate times call for desperate measures. With this being said, I have to do lesson plans today to ensure that I have happy students this week. Being prepared always seems to make my days go a lot smoother too!
Another thing that goes along with being prepared for a smooth sailing week, well as smooth as it can be with three small children, is having my children's outfits picked out for the week. It's just one more thing that I don't have to worry about at night.
I also have to go to church in about an hour. This means I need to hurry up and post this blog post so that I finish getting myself and the kiddos ready. Seriously though, I am still working on my relationship with God (and I believe that's something we are never finished with while we are still on Earth!). I have a long way to go to be anywhere near where I need to be with Him. Church is a very important thing for my family. It isn't just a routine, it's a necessity.
After getting all of things listed above complete, I hope to post a new product to my TpT store this evening. I have a couple of things that I'm working on for this week in my own classroom, so why not post them, right?
I also hope to organize my children's closets. Every time we have a major change in the seasons, their closets become a disaster area! We are at the point of one day it's too cold to wear short sleeves, but the next day it's too hot to wear long. Sigh. I've pulled down spring/summer clothes, but at the same time, they have fall/winter stuff still out in their drawers. It seriously looks like a clothes bomb has gone off in there!
Unfortunately, because I am so excited and happy to spend a beautiful outside with my family, I probably won't be getting to their closets today. Maybe I'll find time this week between ball and dance practice to tackle at least one closet! I'd be so embarrassed if someone saw their closets, but we've had so much rain here lately in Georgia that we are chomping at the bits to spend a day outside in the sunshine!
There you have it; my Sunday Scoop. I'd love to hear all about your Sunday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy the day with your kids! The other stuff will get done, but happy mommy = happy kids.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the small groups. Something about small group teaching just feels better. It's awesome that your kiddos recognize it and ask for it. It means it makes a difference to them, too, and that's what we want :) Enjoy your week!
